During the first term we had the opportunity to meet RRC graduates and current students.

The first meeting was with Kelly Walter, she graduated from college a few years ago. This meeting was very helpful, as she shared with us her experience and recommendations to success during our studies.

I learned from Kelly a lot of useful tips which definitely helped me during my studies. She advised us not to forget about hobbies and leisure time, it helped her to stay motivated for a long term. I followed her recommendation during the first term and it helped me to stay motivated and to succeed.  She also recommended to participate in different professional meetings, to organize online meetings with our peers and to ask for help if we feel that we are not making progress on studies as expected. Sure, I will continue to follow these advices.

The second meeting was with current students Noah Slyker and Jordan Blight from term 5. We had a very interesting conversation and the most important points during these meetings was a deeper understanding of the difference between CO-OP Projects and ACE Projects. Noah Slyker shared his experience with ACE Project and Jordan Blight his work experience. We discussed advantages and disadvantages of each of the paths.

How have these two meetings helped me? To understand that everyone had difficulties during this course was very helpful information. Once you know this information, you concentrate more on how to succeed instead of thinking that something is wrong with you. I listened to all these speakers carefully, I followed their recommendations, I kept in mind their experience and during difficult periods it really helped to go on.
